Melanoma is the most serious type of skin cancer – it can spread rapidly and can be life-threatening if left untreated. More than 350 Kiwis die of melanoma every year, accounting for nearly 80% of all skin cancer deaths.

Early identification of a melanoma is the key to earlier and more effective treatment.
